The Information We Collect and How We Use It

We collect solely your email address for the purposes of keeping you up to date with developments relating to the proposed sale of Rye Bank Fields by Manchester Metropolitan University, and its subsequent development.

We will occasionally send you emails to provide updates and let you know how you might be able to help us object to the development, and specifically any vehicle access via the Trafford borough.

We use Mailchimp to send our emails and will share your email address with them for these purposes. Mailchimp is fully GDPR compliant.

We also rely on “Legitimate Interest” as a legal basis to process information where we have a clear interest to process your data and it does not impact your rights and freedoms, specifically for emailing you information relating to the development proposals for Rye Bank Fields. We would not want to harm your privacy so please let us know if you have any issues and we will try to explain and accommodate your wishes.
